Richard H. McClintock

Richard McClintock is the Director of Security for the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) in Lebanon, New Hampshire and has held this position since February 1978. From 1970 to 1978 Richard served on active duty as a commissioned officer in the US Army Military Police Corps. He continued his service as a reserve officer until his retirement in 1997 as a Lieutenant Colonel.

Richard holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education from the University of Miami (FL) and a Master of Arts in Management and Public Administration from Webster University (St. Louis, MO.)  He is graduated with honors from the US Army’s Command and General Staff College.

Richard teaches routinely has part of his role at DHMC and has been a MOAB instructor for 6 years.  During his military service he taught Command and General Staff College for three years as well as Combined Arms and Services Staff School for four years.

Richard has been a member of A.S.I.S. International since 1976 and has held every office in the Granite State Chapter at least twice.  He joined the Healthcare Security Council in 1985 and served as its Chairman from 1999 to 2002 and has served as a Council Vice President from 2003 through 2006.  Richard is a charter member of the New Hampshire Chapter of the International Association for Healthcare Safety and Security.
