Richard Ballantyne

Richard Ballantyne is the chief of Security Services for Mystic Seaport, The Museum of America and the Sea in Mystic, Connecticut. He was formerly with the museum's education department.

Richard has been a professional trainer in the United States and England since the mid-seventies. He has also been a trainer and consultant for MOAB® Training International, Inc. since 1988 where he works with corporations, hospitals, universities, and police departments throughout the United States as a certified Instructor-Trainer in Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB®), Oleoresin Capsicum Aerosol Training (OCAT®) and Practical and Tactical Handcuffing (PATH™).

Mr. Ballantyne is also a Monadnock International Instructor, a member of ASIS (American Society for Industrial Security), ASLET (American Society for Law Enforcement Trainers), the National Fire Protection Association, and the Connecticut Police Chief's Association Private Security Committee.
